Hi, I’m Ying — and this is my Germany journey.
I first arrived in 2019 for a English taught master’s program and little idea of what was ahead. Over time, I studied, worked, changed career plans, and started fresh with a new bachelor’s degree — all while navigating visa rules, student jobs, housing stress, and German bureaucracy.
Through this blog, I want to document my story honestly, and help others who are considering moving to Germany for study or work. If even one person feels more confident after reading — I’ll be happy.
