This game is currently getting popular in Asia.
Basically you own up to 300 pikmins (or more if you are willing to pay real money or grind a lot) and they will find fruits.
You feed them with flower essence and then when they grow bigger they can go to “fight” mushroom and bring a lot flower essence back.
What I benefit most from this game is getting to know different kinds of flowers and also walk a lot. Also, it connects back me and my old friends in Hong Kong a bit. Because they are relying me to invite them to fight mushroom. Players in Asia have to compete to get a free place to fight mushroom. But in Europe most mushrooms are left there and have no one to fight.
Different kinds of pikmins are also very cute. Each month there will be special themes. Like in May it is Nintendo game console and game card. Its like collectable and you want to get all possible looks of pikmins.
Btw, I actually bought some Nintendo stocks and was hoping the stock to rise a bit. But it is still very low now (cry). Why Nintendo is declining so much :(((
